URVA’S is the brainchild of the designer Urva Kori, aiming at promoting the handloom and handicrafts of Madhya Pradesh through her designs which are a fusion of the traditional as well as the modern. She started URVA’S (previously named URVA’S Innovations) in 2005, creating designs for bagh hand-block prints that incorporated the themes of the tribal culture, rituals, time and life.
URVA’S further developed and designed a variety of print designs for Tussar silk sarees and stoles, Chanderi sarees, Maheshwari sarees, pure silk and handloom cotton silk material.
Under the guidance of National Award winner Bagh and Batik print artisans, Urva’s began to design hand-drawn batik print designs, bringing variety to the apparel they designed. URVA’S has participated in exhibitions at – the Investor Meet Khajuraho, the Buyer-seller meet Indore, various silk expos, and many private exhibitions like the Lavanya exhibition. URVA’S also has a speciality of designer semi-stitched kurtas and Anarkali kurtis using mainly handloom cotton fabric. Our designer kurtis which are available as semi-stitched material are well suited for office as well as party wear.
